Abstract: The proposed collection of information will provide sponsors of investigational devices to apply for wider distribution of the devices under certain conditions. Applications may be submitted by sponsors of devices that address life-threatening or other serious illnesses for which there is no other acceptable treatment and for which the sponsor is diligently pursuing marketing approval/clearance from FDA and has under way or has completed a controlled clinical trail.
