The Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system is a central repository of data pertinent to the acquisition and payment process. The centralization of this data eliminates the duplicative information that was previously submitted by vendors on the Standard Form 129 and other forms to many locations. Vendors are responsible for submitting data once to one location and renewing annually, in lieu of on a recurring basis to multiple government contracting and finance activities.
