The Burau of Land Management collects
information from respondents for free use permits for vegetative or
mineral material in order to: 1) determine whether the vegetative
or mineral material qualifies for free use, 2) determine if
disposal is consistent with local land use plans and authorities,
3) ensure that the appropriate BLM office is issuing the permit,
and 4) monitor and assess the use of authorized removals of
vegetative and mineral materials to ensure sustainable resource
management. Respondents are the general public and not-for- profit
organizations.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
