These 40 forms, covering production,
consumption, stocks and receipts of industrial mineral commodoties,
are critical to the industrial minerals data collection effort, and
are used for military and civilian planning, and Federal policy and
economic decisions related to the commodities covered, which
include phosphate rock, sulfur, cement, stone, sand and gravel,
flourspar and others. In addition to quantities produced or
consumed, various forms in which commodoties are produced or
consumed are requested, along with the uses of the quantities
consumed. These data are compiled into tables published monthly,
quarterly
