This is a survey of chairs of U.S.
IRBs who deal with pediatric research. Chairpersons will be sent a
letter explaining the study and requesting both their participation
and copies of the guidelines they apply to reviewal of pediatric
research. This letter will be followed with a copy of the survey
that will be sent a week prior to a 30 minute telephone survey.
Data collected will help the National Institutes of Health (NIH)
assess the protection of children who are enrolled in clinical
research and attempt to determine how recent NIH Policy and
Guidelines on the Inclusion of Children as participants
in......
