Abstract: The purpose of this evaluation is to assess the impact, strengths and weaknesses of the Partnership Grants Program, one of the three programs authorized in Title II of the Higher Education Amendments of 1998. This program is designed primarily to increase collaboration between schools of arts and sciences and schools of education, increase the role of K-12 educators in the design and implementation of effective teacher education programs, and increase the intensity and quality of clinical experiences for prospective teachers.
