The Foreign Trade Zones Act and
Regulations require an application from a firm or organization
which applies for foreign trade zone (FTZ) status, for subzone
status, or for expansion of an existing zone. Applications must
contain detailed information on facilities, financing, operational
plans, proposed manufacturing operations, need, and economic
impact. The FTZ Board needs complete and accurate informaiton
because the FTZ Act and Regulations require the Board to make
public interest determinations regarding FTZ proposals.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
