Abstract: In response to Title 10, USC Sections 1099 (which calls for a healthcare enrollment system) and 1086 (which authorizes TRICARE elibility of Medicare eligible persons), DOD has established a new enrollment option called TRICARE Plus for persons who are eligible for care in Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) and not enrolled in TRICARE Prime. Those beneficiaries interested in participating must complete an enrollment application.
