The Channels of Trade Provision (FFDCA Sec. 408(l)(5)), as it applies to vinclozolin, essentially states that residues of a pesticide chemical that are found in food after the tolerance is revoked, will not render such food adulterated provided certain requirements are met. FDA anticipates that the party responsible for such food will be able to demonstrate compliance with the Channels of Trade Provision by providing appropriate documentation to the agency.
