Abstract: The purpose of the CDFI Program is to promote economic revitalization and community development through investment in and assistance to CDFIs. The investments by the Program are intended to facilitate the creation of a national network of financial institutions that is dedicated to community development. Specifically, the purpose of this component is to extend this network into Native American and Alaska Native communities.
