This ICR is
approved for three years. The data collected under this OMB number
will be made available to the public and to other researchers as
specified in EPA Form 5700-20A which governs this grant. As noted
in the supporting statement for submitted as part of the ICR
package, because the sample is not a probability sample, the agency
will not extrapolate results beyond the sample for estimating
exposure.

Because of the possible health effects
of particular air pollu- tion, the Agency has a responsibility to
determine the relation- ship human exposure to particles with
ambient air concentrations. At the urging of the National Academy
of Sciences, four studies were begun in 1999 to determine personal
exposure of high-risk subpopulations to particles. Three of the
studies have completed data collection, but the fourth study will
still be collecting data after the July 31, 2002 expiration date of
the OMB approved original questionnaire. The data will be used to
help the Agency in its determination of the proper regulatory
aproach to .......
