The Gun-Free Schools Act (GFSA)
requires each State to provide annual report to the Secretary
concerning implementation of the Act's requirements regarding
expulsions from schools resulting from weapons violations. The GFSA
requires the Secretary to report to Congress if any State is not in
compliance with the GFSA, and requires the Secretary to collect
data on the incidence of children with disabilities engaging in
threatening behavior or bringing weapons to school.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
