Census should
pursue an ambitious data release schedule that improves
availability of data for users. Census shall report to OMB (via
email) in June and Dec of each year the projected data release
schedule for each core and topical module file as well as reporting
on actual release dates. Census will also modify response
categories for a series of questions on TANF and WIC and Food
Stamps that improves the exit data. Census will also reach out to
colleagues in the USDA FNS to determine if other changes should be
made to WIC questions. Census shall report to OMB by June 2004 on
the results of these discussions with USDA staff (via email).
