The PBGC is centralizing its rules on
filing, issuance, computation of time, and electronic means of
record retention in part 4000 of its regulations. This request
seeks approval of a new information collection covering the
requirements of part 4000, the transfer of the relevant provisions
from other parts of the PBGC's regulations to part 4000, and
various other changes to affected regulations. Our burden estimates
would continue to be associated with these other parts of the
PBGC's regulations (along with the substantive collection of
information requirements).
