Abstract: FCC Form 318 is required: (1) to apply for a construction permit for a new LPFM station; (2) to make changes in the existing facilities of such a station; or (3) to amend a pending Form 318 application. On January 20, 2000, the FCC adopted a Report and Order, In the matter of Creation of Low Power Radio Service, MM Docket 99-25, FCC 99-6. The Commission authorized the licensing of two new classes of LPFM stations: Low Power (LP) 100 and Low Power (LP) 10.
