The USDA Forest Service has a need to
collect information, for the use in testing and evaluating foam
fire suppressants that are used in wildland fire activities. This
is necessary for respondents to ensure the chemicals used in the
product (1) are safe for personnel involved in wildland fire
activities, (2) are safe for the environment, (3) do not lead to
corrosion of equipment; and (4) to expedite procurement of the
products wherein evaluation of the product conformance requires
specialized laboratory facilities, replicable test procedures, and
extended testing timeframes (i.e., one-year stability
tests

the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
