The Federal Land Policy and Management
Act of 1976, as amended, requires the Forest Service to collect
information from all applicants for permits to graze livestock on
National Forest System lands. Respondents include individuals,
partnerships, corporations, associations, and other private
entities. The data collected is used by the Forest Service to
administer the grazing program in accordance with federal
regulations. This data is used in the determination of eligibility
of applicants for grazing permits, administrative actions affecting
existing permits, and application of grazing fees. There are 7
