Approved consistent with the following terms of clearance: OMB understands that the future use of any specimens collected in the course of this survey will require prior review and approval from the Steering committee as well as IRB approval, as soon as possible but prior to the beginning of data collection NIH shall submit all IRB approval letters and the amended Certificate of Confidentiality to OMB, upon completion of the study NIH will submit a copy of the results and analysis to OMB.

LAPS is a study of adult blood donors at six participating REDS-II blood centers to measure prevalence of antibodies (HLA & neutrophil antibodies) implicated in a life threatening complication of transfusion and pregnancy history will be estimated.
