You should have recently received a letter telling you about an important housing survey The Gallup Organization is conducting for the Bureau of Labor Statistics. If you have already sent the postcard, please accept our sincere thanks. If you have not sent it yet, we’d like to urge you to take a few minutes to do so now.

The information is being collected for the Housing Survey of the Consumer Price Index (CPI). The CPI is the most widely used measure of inflation and is used to adjust such things as Social Security payments to about 48 million Americans and lunch prices for about 27 million school children.
