About four weeks ago, we mailed you a videotape/CD and answer sheet seeking your opinion regarding forest fire management in California (Montana). As of today we have not received your completed answer sheet.
We are performing this study with the cooperation with state and federal forest management agencies in California (Montana) because of the importance of this topic to all California (Montana) residents. Decisions about forest fire management may affect areas where you live and where you visit. Further, forest fire management may affect the taxes you pay. Thus, it is essential that you tell us how you feel on the fire management options presented in the videotape.
Viewing the video/CD and completing the answer sheet will only take about 30 minutes, and there is no right or wrong answers. However, your responses mean a great deal to us.
In order that the results of the study truly represent the thinking of affected residents such as yourself, it is important that each answer sheet be completed and returned.
A postage paid envelope has been provided to make it easy to return your answer sheet.
Your responses are completely confidential. You will not be individually identified in our results.
In the event that your videotape/CD and answer sheet has been misplaced, a replacement is enclosed.
