The School and Staffing Survey (SASS)is a nationally and state representative survey of teachers, principals, schools and school districts. Respondents include public and private school principals, teachers and school and LEA staff persons. Topics covered include characteristics of teachers, principals, schools, school libraries, teacher training opportunities, retention, hiring, and shortages.
