ANIMAL MOVEMENT RECORD
Purpose: To ensure that swine maintain trichinae certified status during the growing phase until delivered to the packing plant, animal movement records are
required. These records if organized and maintained properly will confirm all market swine, greater than or equal to 5 weeks of age, entering onto the premis es
originated from other trichinae certified production sites.
Objectives: In order to be considered for approval as a trichinae certified production site, a trichinae auditor shall review, audit, and observe records confirming
the continued documentation of arrivals and departures of swine to and from thi s trichinae certified production site.
