Attachment 6: Model Statement

ATTC Events are supported through federal and state funding. The Center for Substance Abuse Treatment, our source of federal funding, requires performance monitoring of ATTC events. The intent of the performance monitoring is to provide data on whether events for addiction counselors and other allied professionals have an impact on treatment outcomes. We all know that well-trained and informed counseling professionals positively impact client treatment outcomes, but we need the data to demonstrate that this is true. We believe this performance monitoring will provide such data.

You will be asked to fill out a number of forms for this assessment, including a follow-up questionnaire that will be sent to you 30 days after the end of this event. While your participation is voluntary, any feedback you provide is critical for us to continue to provide no-cost and low-cost events.
