SUBJECT: HOPE II: Faith-based and Community Organization Program Evaluation Study request for change in ROCIS
OMB provided clearance for the HOPE II Evaluation in September 2006. The quantitative portion of the study was covered under that clearance. However, there is a qualitative aspect to the study that involves site visits to nine organizations that are funded by the HOPE II Program. The site visit protocols had not been completed at the time the OMB package was submitted. When the HOPE II Evaluation was cleared by OMB, Maurice Champagne informed us that we would need to submit the site visit protocols as a change in ROCIS.
As such, I have attached the three interview protocols that will be used at the nine sites. Each of the protocols may not be used in each site, depending on the composition of the organization participating in the research. At maximum, nine interviews will be conducted using any one protocol.
