Prenotification Letter Las Vegas Wash Survey

Dear Las Vegas area resident,
Approximately two weeks from now your household will receive a survey questionnaire mailed
from Utah State University with a request for your assistance in an important study that we are
conducting for the Las Vegas office of the Bureau of Land Management. The study is focused
on the Upper Las Vegas Wash, an undeveloped area located to the north of your neighborhood.
Participation by your household in this study will help the BLM understand how future uses and
management of public lands surrounding the Wash may be related to social and economic
conditions in parts of Las Vegas and North Las Vegas that are located nearby.
We are writing to you in advance because we have found that many people like to know ahead of
time that they will be contacted and asked to participate in the survey process. One adult
member of your household will be asked to complete the questionnaire when it arrives. We hope
that we can count on your help!
