OMB Control #

Expiration date:

Hello, my name is _______________. Thank you for agreeing to help us. Today we’re going to spend about an hour talking about the activities you did at Cuyahoga Valley National Park. We’re interested in what everyone has to say about what they did today.

I want you to know that all of your answers are voluntary, which means that you don’t have to answer any question you don’t want to.

Does anyone have any questions before we start?

Four guiding questions will be the focus of the discussions:

  1. What outdoor recreation activities do you and your friends participate in after school and during the summer? (By outdoor I mean any activity done outside of the house or apartment.)

  2. What kinds of activities were your favorite activities in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park? What did you like least?

  3. Why do you think people your age (e.g., you and your friends) do not come to places like the Cuyahoga Valley National Park?

  4. Can you think of things that would cause more people your age and in your family to come back to the park?
