On May 21, 2004, OMB extended their approval of the information collection requirements contained in the Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) regulation (29 CFR 1910.7). On the Notice of Action approving the information collection requirements, OMB stated:
Approved with clarification that the voluntary programs mentioned on page 2 of the supporting statement will be identified in the next submission as supplemental programs
described in Federal Register Notice Vol.60 No.46 1995. The burden hours in Tab1e 1 should be explained in the next submittal as having been established when the user
fee structure was put in place so the data underlying these estimates is not available.
The NRTL supporting statement has incorporated OMB’s recommendations.
