Your 2007 Economic Census report forms are enclosed.
The Economic Census is essential to business and government decision making. It is the major source of
detailed information about our Nation’s economy and the foundation for most measures of economic
performance, including the Gross Domestic Product. Conducted every 5 years, the Economic Census
uses information from businesses like yours to provide reliable data for your industry and geographic area.
Please complete and return your census forms by February 12, 2008. You may use reasonable
estimates if book figures are not readily available. You should have received a form for each company
location. You may request additional forms from our Web site or customer help line, shown below.
Title 13, United States Code, requires your response to the Economic Census and guarantees that your
response is confidential and will be used only for statistical purposes.
Go to to access on-line services, find answers to questions about the
census, get tips on how to use census data, and find links to previous census results. You can report
electronically by downloading electronic reporting software available there. If you cannot find an answer
at our helpsite, our customer help line (1-800-233-6136) is available Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Eastern time.
