Your 2007 Economic Census report form is overdue. It was due February 12, 2008.
We are enclosing another form. Please complete and return your Economic Census
form within 10 days. You may use reasonable estimates if book figures are not readily
available.
Title 13, United States Code, requires your response to the Economic Census and
guarantees that your response is confidential and will be used only for statistical purposes.
The Economic Census is essential to business and government decision making. It is the
major source of facts about the structure and function of our Nation’s economy and the
foundation for most measures of economic performance. Conducted every 5 years, the
Economic Census uses information about your business and others to provide reliable data
for your industry and geographic area.
We are ready to help you complete the Economic Census:
• Go to to access on-line services, find answers to
questions about the census, get tips on how to use census data, and find links to previous
census results. You can report electronically, by downloading electronic reporting
software available there.
• If you cannot find an answer on the helpsite, our customer help line (1-800-233-6136) is
available Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern time.
