Subject: OMB83C Request non-substantive change
On September 2, 2007, Federal Student Aid (FSA), Office of the Chief Financial Officer will be implementing Pay.Gov to allow lenders to initiate payments to FSA using an on-line form. To facilitate payment, the form will be hosted on FSA’s website. The form will be pre-populated with all necessary data with the exception of the lender’s routing and account number. These fields cannot be pre-populated since FSA does not know what account the lender will draw funds from to make the payment. I have attached the form for your review.
