Dear FSCS State Data Coordinator:
Thank you for participating in the data collection for the Public Libraries Survey, Fiscal Year 2007, conducted by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) as part of the Federal-State Cooperative System for Public Libraries Data. The U.S. Census Bureau is processing the State data submissions as part of an interagency agreement with IMLS.
The U.S. Census Bureau has verified the completeness of your submission materials and is now conducting the edit follow-up on the data submitted.
Because your response to the edit follow-up is a significant criterion for eligibility to receive the Keppel Award, please let us know if you will be away from your office for any extended period. We do not want to send the edit follow-up while you are gone.
This annual survey provides vital information on the status of the nation’s public libraries. We are interested in continuing to improve data quality, and we encourage your ideas and input.
