I. REFERENDUM PERIOD:

been designated as the referendum period. It is important that you, as a producer of oranges or grapefruit, vote in the
referendum. The ballot on the reverse page is for your use in indicating whether you favor continuation or termination of
the Orange and Grapefruit Marketing Agreement and Order.
II. INSTRUCTIONS
FOR VOTING:
All ballots must show:
1. The full name and mailing address of the producer.
2. Your vote--place an "X"in the appropriate space indicating whether you favor continuation or termination.
3. The type of business unit for the producer during the

III. PERSONS ELIGIBLE TO VOTE:
1. Any person who (1) is now engaged in Cameron, Hidalgo, or Willacy County, Texas, in the production of oranges or
grapefruit for market, and (2) was so engaged during the period August 1, _,
through July 31,_.
2. INDIVIDUAL OWNER: An individual owner is any producer who has sole interest in the oranges or grapefruit
he/she produces. He/she may cast only one ballot regardlessof the number of groves he/she operates.
Note: The following statements are made In accordance with the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. 552al and the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. The
authority for requesting thia information to be aupplied on this form is the Agricultural Marketing Agreement Act of 1937, Sees. 1-19, 48 Stat. 31, as
amended, (7 U.S.C. 601-6741. Furnishing the requested information ia necessary for the administration of the marketing order program.
According to the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, an agency may not conduct or sponsor, and a person is not required to respond to a collection of
information unleaa it displaya a valid OMB control number. The valid OMB control number for this information collection Is 0581-0189. The time required
to complete this information collection is estimated to average 20 minutes per response, including the time for reviewing instructions, searching existing
data sources, gathering and maintaining the data needed, and completing and reviewing the collection of information.
