Contributing Practices to the MEADERS Study



  1. Central Texas Primary Care Research Network (CenTexNet)


Network of 49 primary care practices located in both rural and urban settings in central Texas. Patient population is 10% African American and 10% Hispanic.


  1. Los Angeles Research Network (LANet)


Network of 30 primarily urban family practices that care for Hispanic patients. Clinics do direct dispensing of medications.


  1. Oregon Rural Practice-based Research Network (ORPRN)


Network of 40 rural practices of family medicine located in 29 communities across the state of Oregon.


  1. ProHealth Physicians Research Network


Network of practices affiliated with ProHealth system located in Connecticut. Total of 60 practices, including pediatrics, general internal medicine and family medicine. About 10% of practices are urban and provide care for significant African-American patient population.
