Recruiting for 2009 CEQ Changes

December 20, 2007

Researchers: Jennifer (17528) and Scott (17390)

Timeline: Testing should begin Thursday, January 28th, pending OMB approval. Testing will continue through the end of March. Unless specified, no more than 8 participants a week should be scheduled total.

Study Description: Participants will come into the OSMR lab and answer a series of interview questions aimed at evaluating a survey instrument. Each session will take approximately one hour, and participants will receive $40.

Participants: A total of 50 good sessions are required for this study, accounting for any no-shows and data that have to be thrown out for miscellaneous reasons. Participants need to be screened to identify their areas of knowledge (see Attachment A). Of the participants who meet the screening requirements, try to evenly distribute them across education, age, gender and race. The characteristics are listed in order of importance. I will let you know as the study continues if we need to change the selection criteria.

Scheduling: Scott and I keep our Outlook calendars up to date. Please be sure to place the appointment on both my (or Scott’s) calendar as well as the lab book calendar to reserve the room. Work with Pam to get checks for scheduled subjects.

Thank you!!!
