Dear Secretary Bose:
Pursuant to Section 152.5 of the Commission's regulations, Bridgeline Gas
Distribution LLC ("BGD") hereby notifies the Commission that its Hinshaw exemption
is no longer applicable. See 18 C.F.R. § 152.5.
On August 2, 1982, the Commission issued a Declaration of Exemption for
BGD's predecessor, Bridgeline Gas Distribution Company, slating that it "is exempt
from the provisions of the Natural Gas Act, and the orders, rules and regulations of the
Commission issued thereunder." See Bridgeline Gas Distribution Co., 20 FERC ¶ 61,127
(1982).
On September 1st, BGD merged with and into its affiliate, Bridgeline Holdings,
L.P. ("Bridgeline Holdings"). Consequently, BGD will not exist aRer September 1st.
Bridgeline Holdings provides service pursuant to its Louisiana intrastate authority and/or
its Natural Gas Policy Act Section 311 authority. Accordingly, BGD's Hinshaw
exemption is no longer applicable. Bridgeline Holdings is, contemporaneously with this
letter, filing new petitions for rate approval and a revised statement of operating
conditions that reflect the merger of BGD with and into Bridgeline Holdings.
Furthermore, Bridgeline Holdings recently received the necessary authorizations to
facilitate this merger and attaches the orders from the State of Louisiana.
