The NTSB Online Customer Satisfaction
Survey will ask for voluntary feedback from the public regarding
the NTSB public Web site. The Survey will solicit feedback on types
of information that the Web site provides, ease of navigation of
the Web site, presentation of information on the Web site, and
suggestions for the types of information that the public would find
helpful in the future. The NTSB will use the information that it
gathers via this survey to amend and improve its public Web
site.
This survey will NOT result in
any program changes, but is mearly due to this being a new survey.
The NTSB concluded that collecting information via a voluntary
survey, such as the one at issue here, would greatly assist the
NTSB in identifying the publics expectations and needs.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
The following is a summary of the topics, regarding
the proposed collection of information, that the certification
covers:
(i) Why the information is being collected;
(ii) Use of information;
(iii) Burden estimate;
(iv) Nature of response (voluntary, required for a
benefit, or mandatory);
(v) Nature and extent of confidentiality; and

number;
