SUBJECT: Paperwork Reduction Act clearance package for the 2008-2009 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
The 2008-2009 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Change Worksheet and associated documents are ready to be delivered to OMB for their review and clearance. We have received approval from Rachel Potter at OMB to provide a Change Worksheet, rather than the more lengthy paperwork clearance packet, because the FAFSA is not changing significantly from the previous version (2007-2008 FAFSA).
Prior to this, our most recent submission to OMB was the Change Worksheet for the 2007-2008 FAFSA on 3/20/07. We provided the Change Worksheet at that time to incorporate an increase in burden and submission for the FAFSA associated with the new FAFSA4Caster tool for students.
