The burden hour reduction, from 13,611 hour to 12,775 hours is primarily due to a decrease in the estimated total number of OSHA-7 forms being processed (forms can be sent electronically, orally or mailed) from 50,995 to 48,298. The approved ICR estimates the cost burden at $692. This was rounded to $1,000 on the OMB 83-I, and entered into ROCIS. As a result of the increase in mailing costs and the number of forms being mailed, OSHA estimates a total cost of $990; an increase of $298 from the previous $692. However as a result of rounding, ROCIS reports a reduction of $10.00.
