We need your help…..
How does it work?
A team from the National
Children’s Study in Marion County,
WV is interested in understanding
the roles of non-parental relatives
who are the primary caregivers of
children in their family. The team
is also interested in gaining insight
•
You will participate in one
session only.
•
Each session will last no more than 1
hour.
•
You will be compensated for your
time.
•
No personal information will be used
to identify focus group participants.
into the involvement that
extended family members have in
decision making as it relates to
parenting. We invite you to
participate in one of our focus
groups.

How will the information
gathered be used?
This research is being conducted
to support the development of
the National Children’s Study
(NCS). NCS is the largest
research study of the
environment’s effects on
children’s health and
development ever conducted in
the United States. Marion
County, WV is a host site for the
study.
