SUBJECT: OMB Clearance Package for National Prisoner Statistics (NPS), extension and revision to existing collection(s)

Attached is the information collection request (ICR) to revise the National Prisoner Statistics collection into one OMB number, and to reduce the number of forms from three to two. Currently, the NPS-1A and NPS-1B are under OMB number 1121-0102 and the NPS-1 is under OMB number 1121-0078. This ICR seeks to bring the NPS series under one collection number (1121-0102) and reduce the total burden by one form per year. The following documents are contained in this ICR package:
