Justification for Non-material changes to FinCEN Form 107, Registration of Money Services Business

FinCEN edited the instructions to indentify six (6) fields currently on the form as “must complete” for an MSB to be effectively registered. The items include, name, address, city, state, ZIP Code and EIN. On the form itself, the six (6) fields are annotated with an asterisk (*3). In addition, the instructions were edited to instruct the filer to check only one box in Item 1 (a, b, or d). If they are filing a correction, they are to check “c” and either a, b, or d.
