Note to Reviewer of 1220-0079

The terms of clearance in the Notice of Action dated May 8, 2006, state that:

This collection is approved for three years with the following terms of clearance: as BLS has agreed, annual changes to the work statements and supporting materials will be submitted using form 83-C. BLS will annouce substantive changes in a Federal register notice and allow 30 days for public comment; OMB waives the 60-day notice for these changes. DOL will publish the normal 60-day notice when seeking to renew this generic clearance in 2009.

Therefore, the BLS is submitting the 2009 LMI Cooperative Agreement to OMB for review.  Draft versions of the 2009 work statements are also included, showing additions and deletions that were made.  If OMB determines that substantive changes have been made, the BLS will publish the changes in the Federal Register.
