We are pleased to present the application package for a new formula grant program, the College Access challenge Grant Program (CACGP). This program was established on September 27, 2007 under Title VII, Part E of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended.
The purpose of this program is to foster partnerships among federal, state and local governments and philanthropic organizations through matching challenge grants that are aimed at increasing the number of low-income students who are prepared to enter and succeed in postsecondary education.
Attached you will find an application containing eligibility and program requirements, and instructions and forms that are needed to apply for CACGP funding. Please review the entire application package carefully before preparing and submitting your application. The application package is posted on the CACGP Web site, www.---. The deadline to submit an application is on or before ---. Instructions for electronic submission are provided on page 6 of the application package.
