Interview Protocols to be used during Telephone Interviews


Topics of interviews to be determined after analysis of survey data. Questions present here are comprehensive list of possible topics.

[Interviewer will review project proposal prior to interview to be familiar with the activities of the grant.]


What have been the greatest challenges of getting your GK-12 project up and running? How have you overcome these challenges?


How would you describe the benefits of participating in GK-12 for Fellows? for K-12 Teachers?


Do you see any evidence that participating faculty members have changed the way they teach as a result of participating in GK-12? (Please describe.)


How supportive has your institution been of your GK-12 project activities? (e.g., office space, staff, funds)


How supportive is your institution of partnering with other organizations (such as K-12 schools, museums, etc.)?


What have been the benefits of partnering with a K-12 school for you and the school? What are you each getting out of it?


Do you have a plan for institutionalizing any of your GK-12 activities after funding ends? If so, how?


Has your GK-12 award had any influence on the way that graduate students are educated in participating departments? (If so, please describe.)


Has your GK-12 award had any influence on the way that graduate students are educated in other departments? (If so, please describe.)
