It is time again for the count of the Nation’s prisoners at midyear. Enclosed is the National Prisoners Statistics (NPS-1A) data collection form for June 30, 2007. The form includes pre-printed counts from the NPS-1A form that you submitted for June 30, 2006. Please update these counts, provide new counts for midyear 2007, and submit all data by July 31, 2007.
We also provide a Web reporting option for this collection. You can access NPS-1A at http://harvester.census.gov/nps/. Your password appears on the form to the left of the address label.
