OMB approved the main data collection of NLSY97 Round 11 and the Round 12 pretest on October 3, 2007, with the following terms of clearance.

“TERMS OF CLEARANCE: With the next submission of this collection, BLS will report on the results of the incentive experiment and the experimental questionnaire section on ‘Tell Us What You Think.’ BLS has agreed that the results from the incentive experiment will be used to propose a single incentive plan for all respondents in future rounds.”

A report on the results of the “Tell Us What You Think” section of the Round 10 questionnaire appears in attachment 8 of the justification document.

A report on the results of the incentive experiment conducted in Rounds 10 and 11 appears in attachment 9 of the justification document. A single incentive plan for all Round 12 respondents is presented in section A.9 of the justification document.
