SUBJECT: Nonsubstantive Change Request for: National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) Communications Program Planning and Evaluation (OMB Control Number 0925-0530, expiration date October 31, 2010)
The purpose of this memo is to update and replace the first IC with the document submitted with this request. Previously this ICR was submitted and approved in October 2007 and, to date, no burden hours have been used. As part of the Terms of Clearance, we will submit individual collections to OMB as they are implemented. However, the “sample instruments” that were submitted with the initial request show in ICRAS/ROCIS that the burden has been allocated for these instruments. They were only listed as examples of activities that program was proposing to do under the generic approval and these surveys were not conducted. Because the system is indicating that we have used all of the burden hours, we cannot submit any sub-studies under this ICR.
