Revisions to the Collection Instrument:

Regulation Sections 404.1242, Backpay; 404.1251, Final Reports – for Wages Paid Prior to 1987; and, 404.1271 (a) & (c), Adjustment of Overpayment of Contributions – for Wages Paid Prior to 1987, have no respondents. Therefore, we are not listing these Sections of the Regulation under information collections.

Regulation Section 404.1220, Identification Numbers – SSA previously assigned a reporting and coverage number beginning with the prefix “69” to all covered political subdivisions; however, this practice is now obsolete, therefore, this section is no longer listed under information collections.

Regulation Section 404.1203 Evidence – for Wages Paid Prior to 1987; and, Regulation Section 404.1243, Use of Reporting Forms – for Wages Paid Prior to 1987, will be cleared during the next regular OMB approval process for OMB Numbers 0960-0030 (Form SSA-7011, Statement of Employer) and 0960-0036 (Form SSA-1002, Statement of Agricultural Employer (Year Prior to 1988)).

404.1265, Addition of Interest to Contributions—for Wages Paid Prior to 1987; and,

404.1271(b), Adjustment of Overpayment of Contributions – for Wages Paid Prior to 1987.
