EDFacts Data Set For

School Year 2007-08

Student Data Groups

EDFacts Student Data Groups will collect data about groups of students, for example, membership by grade level, sex, and race/ethnicity. Note: EDFacts does not collect ANY data on individual students. While most of the data collected through EDFacts relates to students served in public schools and LEAs, EDFacts does collect data on students in private schools and facilities when those students are receiving services or other benefits from a federal program (i.e., Title I of ESEA and IDEA).

As described in the beginning of this document, the aggregate data reported for students at the school level can (but is not expected to) add up to similar information reported at the LEA level.
