Abstract: This action is initiated to load the final version of the BE-577 form and instructions into the ROCIS database and receive final approval from OMB to conduct the survey. Secures data on transactions between U.S.-owned foreign business enterprises and their U.S. parents needed to compile U.S. international transactions, input-output, and national income and product accounts and the international investment position of the United States. The data are also needed to measure the size and economic significance of U.S. direct investment abroad, measure changes in such investment, and assess its impact on the U.S. and foreign economies.
